Default Beach Rd and Tailwinds

Forecast for Saturday 19..6.04 - Port Phillip Bay

"Saturday Northwesterly winds at 20 to 30 knots shifting west to
southwesterly at 30 to 40 knots during the day and easing to 20 to 30
knots at night."

Have a ride lined up for Sat am down to Rellie's place at Red Hill.
MAybe that 'Northwesterly winds at 20 to 30 knots' will push me all the
way down

Altho knowing the unwritten law-of-Beach-Rd ( If on 2 wheels without a
motor, thou shall have a headwind! Even if you turn 180degrees, you will
still have a headwind!!!) the 2nd bit might thwart me... 'shifting west
to southwesterly at 30 to 40 knots during the day'

Anyone care to join me so I can draft you :-), I mean, chat ?

I need to do some long kays if I'm ever going to do this Melb-Mildura
ride... but I hate having to do the second half into the wind

I guess it will be good practise for when I hit the mallee! :S

I might actually dust the cobwebs off the Pug roadie and take it out..
gee.. wonder if I'll remember how to change gears?
