I got given a Cinelli leather helmet (also known as Hairnet), the kind
used in the 60s-80s. It's quite beatiful, made out of lovely soft leather, and very comfortable. The most recent pro I've seen riding with one is Andrei Tchmil in 1998-99. Just last year I saw a courier with dreadlocks with one on in the city, looked awesome. ![]() It's pretty retro looking, and I think it's pretty cool too. I was just wondering if anyone else had experience with them, and whilst I'm almost extremely sure it's now not legal to ride with one, I'd be interested if that could be confirmed for me. ![]() -- |
