Default Micro-halogen globe replacement

I have one of those Cateye Micro-halogen lights that takes a 2.4W 4.8V
globe with two little pins on the end. It's an earlier version I think
of the Cateye HL500II, but looks identical.

The globe burned out, so where the heck can one get a replacement
globe? I've tried bicycle shops, but so far, no luck. Are these bulbs
exclusive to Cateye such that you have to throw out the light if the
globe goes?

I'm based in Adelaide.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Nicholas

Sounds unusual. Look in the yellow pages for a lamp specialist.

If all else fails, the GH158 from Reflectalite -
http://www.reflectalite.com/ - might be what you're looking for.

They're in the UK, but I've bought bulbs from them. They'll take
a personal cheque from an Aussie bank account in Aussie dollars.

You *may* need to get an LBS to order it in especially, but PJ White
are worth a call. They're an Adelaide lighting specialist. I can't
seen anything specific on their site, but that's not to say they don't
know of such a toy.

Otherwise try http://www.wiggle.co.uk/?ProductID=5300005603 , or give
Phantom a call (http://www.phantomcycles.com.au for details)

Dave - who has a new 5W light. Mmmm, Luxeony goodness.

There in Angus St. In a small (2-3) group of shops. Tucked around the
corner. Very helpful young woman in there

in some old box. :-).
