Default clicking in knee

When I extend my leg I feel a popping in my knee, this knee also is pretty sore and has been sore for a few weeks. Because of another injury I haven't been riding during this time at all, I'm on crutches and only putting weight on this leg. Any possible causes and stretches and stuff I can do to help?

It hurts more, the knee, when I push my leg to the inside or the outside with my foot on the ground, putting stress on my knee to keep my leg straight.

I'm thinking of switching to speedplay pedals. Right now I'm using spd.

Hi there i have been having the same problem, i went to a physio and she told me that my knees are not straight they face out very slightly which means that the socket behind the knee is getting rubbed when i am bending my knees.

The solution she gave me was that i have to get the build the muscel up in the inside of the thigh and this will straighten the knee out.

Its still quiet soar at the moment but getting better.

Hope you understand this as im not so good at explaining things.....
