This is an excerpt from an interview with last year's MTB World
Champion: Q.) Any changes to your Specialized racing bike? "I'm going to race the Epic like it was last year. I will change from Shimano to SRAM. We might make a special frame for the Olympics like we did last year for the world's. It was a stock frame, but we didn't paint it. It saves like 140-150 grams. It makes a difference at that level, because it's the small things that make a difference."
