Default Mari Holden on David Letterman

From USA cycling...

Holden 1 of 10 Olympic hopefuls on Letterman

Colorado Springs, Colo. (May 5, 2004)--2004 U.S. Olympic Hopeful, Mari
Holden (Colorado Springs, Colo.) will be one of ten athletes featured on the
"Late Show with David Letterman" on May 13 in conjunction with the USOC
Media Summit in New York, N.Y. May 14-17.

Holden, the 2000 World Time Trial Champion and Olympic Silver Medalist, will
help present Dave's "top-ten" list along with nine other Olympic hopefuls
from various sports.

Why couldn't they have put Dotsie on there instead of Mari? I like
her riding and all, but Dotsie is much easier on the old eyeballs.
Or maybe just bring the whole team on there.

Geez I must be getting old. What popped into my head when
I read the original post was how kind they were to refer
to someone that hasn't produced a result in quite some
time as an Olympic hopeful.

Agreed, Mari is still riding on past glory. Dotsie would make a good chair
mate for Dave but is she funny?

Isn't that Laura Van Gilder (sp?) who beat Johnny V back in Denville?
