I'm sure more people (in the states at least) know about Jason Giambi and Balco than know about Pantani. Steve |

Mostly I'm hearing about Balco and Track & Field, but Manzano appeared to indicate THG was among the Kelme drug pool. Bonds initially denied anything, then said he took whatever supplements his trainer gave him (and he trusted the trainer), but it does seem a bit like Virenque "I didn't take drugs" -> "I may have, but not intentionally" -> "Ok, I did and I'm sorry." I'm expecting a bombshell to come out of the racing pigeon community any day now. |

He was captain of the GB athletics team and T&F is a major sport here. To some extent he's seen as a "victim" of his coach and a devious US supplement company - us Brits would never knowingly dope, would we? Regards! Stephen |

Giambi was called in front of the Grand Jury as was Sheffield. It was a big topic in Yankees spring training. The SF chronicle reported that they had proof of all three: Bonds, Shef, and Giambi recieving steroids. -- |
