Ahhh, the Ardennes classics are upon us once again. This time it is
Liege-Bastogne-Liege, 'La Doyenne' as it has been so appropriately named. This is another race for the all-round classics rider, the 'short' but steep pitches of the Ardennes will leave even the best of riders gasping for air. Saint-Nicolas, La Redoute, the race may be decided there. Tyler Hamilton won last year which proves that a climber can win this event with a combination of luck and excellent form. Bettini has won it twice and he is definitely the absolute in all-round classics riders of the present. Danilo Di Luca cannot be counted out, he is surely looking for a classics victory to add to his string of 2nd places. And lastly, can Davide Rebellin make it 3 in a row ?!? That is all, I'll leave the rest up to you. http://www.lessyourimage.com/fantasy/ LSI - Fantasy Cycling |
