and what, pray tell, do you know of the 'art world'? if you live in
redneck california, i would think not much. even if you lived in SF,
you'd probably not know much. so leave your ignorance about art
outside of RBR, please.

I hesitate to ask what part of the art world you could be involved with,
without having a tolerance for gays.

BTW, to "Otto": with UC Berkeley and Stanford in the area feeding both the
state/community colleges and the local schools, to say nothing of the
imports who are attracted to the mild climate and appreciative residents,
the art world here is very, very healthy indeed.

You wouldn't know it from looking at the shitty web design and crappy "Space
Art" on your website.

The Bay Area is not "redneck California".

The Central Valley (Fresno, Stockton, and the like) and some Sierra foothill
towns are "redneck California".

No kidding, I am (very) aware of it. That said, I stand with the majority of
Americans who oppose the gay lifestyle, but many of us probably work with
gays everyday and don't even know it. It's transparent and actually I like
it that way. I would rather not know if someone is gay. That's just my
preference.

Umm, you work in the art world but don't know the mean of the word
"transparent"? Interesting.

I am done with this series of posts and replies. What started out fun, isn't
any longer. I don't mind sharing my views on the sexes but things have
degraded down to the Pugilist level where we will be settling things with
our fists. There always has to be someone to get the last word. Anything
about womens cycling always get lost in the mix. So it's safe to say no one
picked up local coverage of Redlands.

Trying to bring this (almost) full circle, look at #208 on the Aerospace
Engineering/Atlas Mining team.

Well, Bruce, maybe you should have taken the advice you gave Steven
yourself: "think before you post". You did say a few fairly inflammatory
things and then you wondered why you got the response you did. I'll keep
any further thoughts on this subject to myself. Somehow, I doubt you'd like
'em...
