Hey, Peter, lighten up. The "easier to purchase than lose weight"
line was a joke. And the pursuit of lighter components and the
attendant advantages is not a new thing - did you ever drill anything
or know anyone who did?

Many people treat bike ownership like the car afficianado - we like to
go fast on them and we like to putz with them. It is a hobby, a
method for maintaining fitness and sanity, a healthy distraction from
the stress of modern life. Just look at the OT discussions that pop
up here. It's invading even our escapes.

So I'm gonna go back to trying to figure out whether my new Alpha Q
fork is going on the Schwinn Paramount ti or on the Foco Sano.

Sorry, man, you kinda brought me down.

Good call, and I will try. These last few weeks of 'life in retail' have been a
chore for some reason. Yes we are VERY busy, barely gettin things done but the
"gee isn't this or that a better idea? The guy down the street says" type stuff
wears me out!!

They are just toys after all......
