I believe there are a few manufacturers that make women's specific road bars
that have smaller bends, narrow widths, etc. I know that Terry sells them (which I think are nittos). Can anyone point me to some other more high end choices? TIA, andy |

TIA, | andy | | The Deda 285 (also called the "Piega") is a good choice in the 40cm width (Deda specifies widths from outer edge to outer edge, so their 40cm width is equivalent to other manufacturers' center-to-center 37.5cm width). The drop on this narrow model is only about 133mm. The reach is quoted at 86mm. The part of the bar leading to the hoods is nearly parallel to the drops (the deviation from parallel is only ~20 degrees) so it can be positioned nearly horizontal ...which makes riding the hoods comfy. I find these bars very very comfortable in all possible hand positions. Jean |

Deda 215 comes in three models. The shallow drop is short on both drop and
reach. Ritchey's Classic bar is similarly proportioned. |

They're short and shallow (reach: 70mm, drop: 140mm). Emily |
