I have had three idler brackets for the timing chain bend
since I've owned my Screamer. The first bent (excuse the pun) after about four years, second lasted two years and the third lasted under 100 miles. Maybe we're just getting stronger...just kidding. The original had a single roller. It was replaced by an upgraded double roller. The current one was installed using the modification instructions on RANS site using a single roller for the timing chain. RANS is sending me a replacement at no cost, but seemed puzzled as to why it bent. They are also sending a return envelope for the bent bracket. Any suggestions on how I can eliminate this problem? |
