Hey,
I know that Bobby Julich is trying to mend old fences, and kick start his tired career again. I know that he has harbored a HUGE amount of jealousy towards Lance since Bobby wore back number #1 in the 1999 Tour de France, only to crash out miserably in the TT at Metz. If he is sincere about getting past all this hatred, why doesn't he put on a LIVESTRONG band? I know the winners of the past 5 stages have them. Anybody know Bobby personally? Thanks, Ronde Champ |

Maybe someone is passing them out to stage winners and they forgot to give one to Bobby. Who really cares? -------------- Alex |

It certainly does not indicate that an individual is supportive. It is more like they don't want to catch any criticism so they wear the damn thing. Shoot, even Carmichael "left mine at the hotel". Why would you *expect* Bobby to wear it if CC does not even care enough to do so? Wearing it means you gave what, a dollar? Wow, there are much more important things (or a lot more money from star athletes) that can be done. Are you wearing yours? If so, you are a homer. If not, you are a hypocrite. > > Anybody know Bobby personally? > > Thanks, Ronde Champ |

I'll admit that 1 million is a great help to the fund. But for a company that netted 945 million on 12.3 billion in sales in the fiscal year just ended, 1 million seems paltry. > Thanks, Ronde Champ |

Sometimes NOT playing follow the leader is worthy of greater respect than the minions who imitate the latest trend. Come to think of it, I haven't noticed his tattoo or a stud earring either. |

How much of their profits need to go to *your* favorite charity anyway? What percentage of your salary did you give to "Live right"? What!? Too low! > > > Thanks, Ronde Champ |

seriously, who gives a rats ass who is wearing them- Just by
the fact that Al (I am so Bored) Troutwig keeps talking about them and asking Carmichael about his - makes me want to take mine off - I have noticed the yellow band is quickly showing up on every douche in town - It was cool 4 weeks ago, I think it has Jumped the SHark last Friday |
