Post Mountain bike sizing

I'm preparting to spend some serious $$ on a new mountain bike and need help with sizing. I now ride a Trek 800 that hasa always seemed too large fro me. I'm 5'8" but with relative ly short legs 30" inseam. Any help? Thanks. Tom

Go find a Local bike shop that will actually fit you to the bike. If you are going to spend a good amout of cash, then they should do a lot more then have you step over the bike and pick it up.
