During Stage 4, did anyone notice how much larger Lance's
chest cavity was compared to his team-mates? Wow. I've always thought that Lance's physical capabilities were more or less comparable to other top riders and that it was his mental prowess that put him above the rest. Guess I was wrong! Dave |

I just read an interview today w LA, he didn't just "lose
weight" while sick, he said his physique was "gone" from lying in bed for three months. He then basically consciously built himself up from a near- skeleton into a custom designed GT winning machine. What a horrible, horrible thing the first part must have been to go through - I don't think anyone could voluntarily do that to themselves, their body would just flat out refuse. |

Do you mean Gq the men's mag.? I can't believe that Lance is doing photo shoots for them. That's definitely one strike against him. Dave |

I didn't see that edition of the Lance Chronicles (or wherever it was GQ came up), but Gentlemen's Quarterly would be the general interp of "GQ," especially given the whole "shoot" thing. Given that no one has rushed to correct me, it's fair to say you can stake your life on it. JF |
