Default ? Tandem - upright in back, recumbent in front

Last week, I saw a tandem that was recumbent in front and upright in back. Does anyone have any experience with one or know who makes them?

Carl,
Its a German machine and details can be found here:
www.hasebikes.com
I have seen them being ridden and they look a lot of fun.

A US maker is
www.bilenky.com

I believe there is also a Dutch or Danish manufacturer as well.

The Hase Pino is available in a Ti version.
