Roberto Heras does his annual tdf disappearing act. Heras
joins the club of over-rated ex-postys, such as Levi, Tyler and Livingston. What a relief that we don't have to be tortured to watch the hapless Beloki, and the temperamental Once squad. The old Mr. Crow is showing us maybe how over- rated the rest of peloton is. Sacrifice is a word that is unknown in the fat and happy peloton. So Mr. Crow has passed the record that Indurain set with the most days in yellow. You know I always thought the Big Mig was a fake. Too fat and too slow, would be his discription if he was in today's peloton while he was in his prime. |

He has been at it for quite some time and unlike most Tour idiots he trains for it year 'round just like his deity. |

I said "probably". Legate I am sure does. Henry is a black comic, supremely sarcastic and dark. A "comedian noir" that only the French could love. -Ken |

So, let me get this right, K. Gringioni (Henry) = Callistus V. is not an equation? Damn it. How do you know V's from Burbank? I've been there often. -Ken |

A couple of years ago Kevin was riding the San Francisco GP for Telecom. He came in something like 4th or 5th. Everyone else was torn completely to pieces. I looked at Kevin and he looked as fresh as he did in the morning at the start. His jersey and shorts weren't sweat stained. His eyes didn't have that washed out look that everyone else including George did. There's no doubt in my mind that if Kevin had been properly handled that he would have been at least as good as Tyler and I suspect he'd be quite a bit better. |

You can ride around all day in cool foggy, drizzle then bust a sweat climbing above the marine layer, then nearly freeze to death on the way back down, back under the marine layer. Well, I was thinking of the inland side of the hills, so I'll agree that Monterey is indeed part of the north. But that's it! Nothing else...
