Hey,
Who are the top three RBR contributors? I figure with all the temporary July RBR visitors, it's time to give credit to those who deserve it. This place gets like 50 posts in all of December, now it's 50 an hour! Who are the most helpful, wisest, biggest Trolls, etc... Maybe a best First Post by a Newbie award, too! Thanks, Ronde Champ (formerly Ronde Chumpion) Supreme Ruler RBR 2004 |

The only thing has changed is that there is no supreme ruler now. It's pretty much like Iraq, newsgroup without a totalitarian dictator who decides who stays and who leaves. Newbies just run the gauntlet of random rbr terrorists and let the chips fall where they may. Henry's gone and those are big shoes to fill. |

Bogus. Especially as no one was competing for your categories one and two, you could have given the jerseys to anyone. Curtis L. Russell Odenton, MD (USA) Just someone on two wheels... |

> This place gets like 50 posts in all of December, now
> it's 50 an hour! Is the disparity between the number of posts all that surprising? How much (road) racing goes on in December? It's no wonder that more people are interested in the TDF than say the tour of Flanders. I say more power to the TDF hype. The way I see it, the more people that tune in to the sport at anytime and gain some appreciation for it, the more safe I am on the roads from wacko drivers that don't "get" the sport. I personally catch all the races that fit into my busy schedule. But the TDF is huge and I get more interested than usual, and it prompts me to post. Otherwise I only post when I go bi-polar and I see something that pisses me off. Not that you really care - nor do I for that matter. See what I mean about the bi-polar thing. ![]() |

I have to admit, that is one phrase I never quite understood. Doesn't it all depend on where the person stops forgetting? There are a few that claim I've forgotten more than I ever knew. They don't seem to be saying in a good sense... Curtis L. Russell Odenton, MD (USA) Just someone on two wheels... |

Carl is FAIR GAME for all accusations, even if 99.9% of them are completely not true. I like Warren's Oval Analogy though. Oh yeah, my goof: _Bill Crwthr_ (not "Bob") is the TritonRider I was trying to ID as a TOP RBR Leader. Today's Tour (stage 5) is being shattered by Winds and Rain. (Kivilev R.I.P.) -Ken |
