What's up with that? The OLN guys were almost orgasming over
Lance. "Look at that smile" repeated a few times, then the slo-mo shots of Lance's face. Then the guy interviewing Sheryl Crow talks about Lance's smile. Ugh. Makes me want to vomit. And earlier they were orgasming about the "perfection" of the Postal team's line. Do the commentators all line up like that to give Lance blow jobs after he races? It's like no one else in the race even exists. I know Lance is going for 6, but there must be other stories as well. Is the European coverage more balanced? |

But OLN is catering to the US market and in the US, the TdF is the only bike race and Lance is the only rider as far as most are concerned. Bob C. |

I find it helps to just mute the sound, do some drugs and watch the racing. ;-) |

All they talked about also was how much he was smiling. They're also showing the lance chronicles now. |

> Too bad for you. In all seriousness, I've found the French, in general, to very much like Lance. It's not as if they have any great French cyclists to be cheering on at the moment, and, let's face it, if Lance's greatest crime is to focus 100% on a single bike race, and that bike race happens to be the Tour de FRANCE... However, if the French are going to be subject to repeated reruns of some of the more insipid episodes of the Lance Chronicles... well, maybe we can get together with them and blame Canada! --Mike-- Chain Reaction Bicycles www.ChainReactionBicycles.com |

This will be the sixth straight year that I'll be be cheering him on on the Champs Elysees. As far as I'm concerned he can keep winning the tour as long as he wants to ride. However, there's more to bike racing and the TdF than Ms. Crow and Peet's coffee. I guess, that is unless you're a fawning top-posting newbie. |

Hey, I've been taking every opportunity over the years to draw people into the sport. Even hanging around the pub last night after trivia and explaining Team Time Trialing to onlookers. Are you doing your part for a world that doesn't require dumbing down the sport commentary? It is good to see Lance smile, so much of the time he looks so dour. |
