Okay, okay...We've all seen the Bob Roll/Lance Armstrong
Trek TV ads but quite frankly I think I'd rather good for a
ride with Bobky rather than Lance...No offense to Lance mind
you...But let's face it Bobky RULES...!!!

Bob Roll in 2004...!

Rules? Uh, OK. He is a lot more fun to ride with though. At
least he is likely to wait for you without making you
(intentionally) feel slow. I would rather spend the day
riding with just about any USPS guy but Lance. Lance is too
big in the "star" department for me. George is cool,
Ekimimov is most worthy of idolizing IMO if that is what you
guys are after. Eki would have the best stories too.

Yes, I think a ride with Bobke would be more fun--lots of
funny stories as well as a good meal afterwards--and not so
much *it's all about me*--as it would be with Lance.

My two cents--

I'd like to ride with Bob, but I'd want his hands taped to
the brake hoods. I can't handle all those wild gyrations he
seems so fond of.

I can't believe what I'm seeing here. People who don't even
know Lance are basing assumptions of how he is as a person
based upon what they see on TV. For all you know he may be
really cool to ride with. I've met Bob on a few occasions
and he's a decent enough guy, too. Come down to it, it'd
probably be a riot to go on a ride with both of them!

No, Bobke will be moving his hands all over the place and
will be too dangerous to ride with.
