I have a hardtail with front suspension. I just got a new
bike computer and I was wondering if anyone has any hints on mounting the thing. Of course, I have left what I deem is sufficient slack in the wire to allow for turning of the front wheel and suspension travel. Is there anything that I should know that I might not have thought of? I'm sure some of you have crappy computer wire experiences. The thought of anything loose scares me (especially when it's attached to an electronic component). - Muskie |

Route the wire up the BACK side of the fork, so it doesn't
het ripped off by brush, Other than that, be prepared to lose it occasionally ;-) Steve "I used to have a 'puter, but..." |

Cateye Enduro 2's have a nifty plastic spiral thing that allows you to run the computer cable up a brake cable and keep it tight so it doesn't snag on branches, etc. I'd explain it more but my brain is already leaking from one ear.. hippy |

Make sure you wiretie the cable coming out of the computer
to the handlebars. With 7 computers in use it makes a difference. I MTB 2004 |
