I have just found this forum by searching the internet. I currently have an old mountain bike , which when I went to buy it seemed fine, a quick cycle down the road. However, the advice I was given on the right bike, only seemed to take account of my leg length, 34inch however my arms are probably not in proportion and quite short, and also having a very stiff neck and shoulders I end up feeling very uncomfortable when riding.
I have looked at various postings and people talk about a calculation for bike frame size(buit no one has given the calculation). I have been into various bike shops and most have been very helpful, however I do not want to make the same mistake and sit on the bike, have a ride down the road and then end up on a long cycle feeling very uncomfortable. ANy help greatly recieved. Chris |

I dont know that frame sizing is the issue, perhaps you might want to experiment with different bar profiles on your current ride and see if there is any relief there for you.
