Default Fuji Touring 2004

Has anyone used this bike? For long periods of time? What can you tell me about it, especially compared to the Trek 520? It is the bike I am likely to buy for my tour of the Atlantic Coast this summer, but I want to hear some opinions first. Thanks!

i have a fuji touring series 2 which is 8 years old and has over 40,000 miles on it with nothing more than new rubber and chain. built like a tank, fairly nimble and one of the most comfortable bikes i have ever ridden, I wish it would wear out so i can buy a rivendell.
