Default Argus

Have I missed the post, where are all your times for the Argus and what did you guys think ?

I did it in 4 hours.

Start and finish was pretty bad with regards to the bottle necks over the timing mats. Other than that it was excelent. Started in group U and we had a blistering pace all the way to the top of smitwinkel. At that point our average speed was 32km.h. I stopped on Scoborough for a pee and then sprinted after my mate. I was doing 55/60km/h all the way too misty cliffs. I eventually caught him up chappies.

Had a good race and felt good at the end. Chappies route was brilliant. Long live chappies.

Yeah, it was a good ride. I managed a 3:13 with a average of just under 34km/h. I underestimated the distance from the old finish at Maiden's Cove to the end. Otherwise it was great.

Also had a good ride. Managed 3:19 - actually wanted to do better but my preparation was not as good as it should have been. Regardless, I'm still happy with my time.

The only things that pee-ed me off was the idiot motorist that somehow got onto the route (against the traffic nogal) near Fishhoek / Kalkbay!

The section over Chappies was awesome! The road surface smooth as a baby's bum and the view great!

Will definitely be back next year

Managed a 2.56 and was very pleased as had aimed to be under 3. Started in E group and had to work pretty hard to drive the pace. Felt good all round and course seemed easier than detour route. (After the SA champs course the previous weekend anything would have felt easy)
