I've got an Orbea Altec 2 plus with a Reynolds fork, Zipp or HED Trispokes roll the thing around w/ 170 d-ace cranks.
The bike is 6.6 kilos and rides great, very steep, great for my local 200M 44degree wood track. pics at: http://www.cyclingnews.com/photos.p...08/BBteamblue2a and http://www.cyclingnews.com/photos.p...eambluehandoff1 |

I have a old (no idea what year) quite plain Bianchi steel bike. It doesn't fit well (too short top tube) and the tubes are so skinny it looks like it's going to buckle under me.
http://leifclarke.com/cycling_image...-R1-032-14A.jpg This year or next I'll probably get something like the Cramerotti with the Bladrunner tubing, DA group, and Zipp 404 front, Zipp disc rear.

Dolan are the daddies in the UK. If they are good enough for Wiggins, Millar and Hoy then they are good enough for me!

Custom steel Banani in a mix of different Columbus tubes and Reynolds tandem seat- and chainstays. 580 mm seattube, 575 mm toptube lowered 20 mm. A bit on the heavy side - frame/fork 3 kg (but so am I - 99 kg), stiff and rides like a dream.
Shimano Dura Ace group, old Cinelli disk, old Specialized trispokes, custom steel stem, no-name steel handlebars. |

This is my track bike. I've only been riding once a week for 6 weeks. I bought this second hand for $500aud with gears and tools and another set of wheels (Campag Record hubs w/ singles). It was a very good deal.
It has "Gibson" decals on it, but it is not a Gibson. It does have "Reynolds 531" stamped into the seatstay brace. I believe it is an Australian-built frame/fork. If anyone can ID this frame I'd appreciate it. See it here: http://www.thehippy.net/Cycling/MyB...bson/index.html |

Hi Hippy
I have spoken to the person who's stickers are on the bike (GIBSON), and he tells me that there were no distinguishing marks to identify the frame builder, however he did tell me who the frame used to belong to (prior to you). I do know the person concerned and will contact him A.S.A.P. |

You know who the "Gibson" guy is? Do you have any details? All I know is that he is/was a local frame builder, but this frame isn't one of his - just his stickers. As for knowing the guy I bought it off.. I met him and he doesn't know what brand the bike was originally. He told me that he had it painted and stickered without ever knowing the original make. The only other markings are the 531 imprints on the stay-brace. If you come up with any info, thanks for looking! ![]() BTW: Do you ever race in Melbourne? Have we met? (I know a couple of Ricks, that's all...) cheers! hippy
