Hi Kim,
Sorry it has taken awhile to respond to your question re: races in my area. I am still learning what is in New England. In RI they have weekly crits which are co-ed, there are races in Mass that have a women's division.
I have been finally diagnosed re: dizziness! It seems a virus infected my inner ear and left permanent damage to my vestibular (sp?) nerves. I have started physical therapy to "retrain" my brain to take in the information and decrease the dizziness. From what I understand it will take a couple of months before I am back 100%. I am grateful it was not anything more serious.

Anyway, keep me posted about your progress! I am rooting for you

I needed to hear that encouragement! I've had a set back...again! Looks like I have to get some spinning in again before I can train. I'm going to be spinning for about 4 weeks! UGGGG!
Glad you're not seriously ill. My mother had the same illness you have and is fine now, after a few rounds of meds and rest. Hope you're ok soon.

Thanks Kim and Junebug,

The MD's are not sure where or why this virus came about. I start P.T. next week. I have to say, the diagnostic tests were the worst part...glad that's over with!
