I haven't heard anything about it. Sounds like it could be good. Do you know who's directing it?

Baz Luhrmann. He direct Moulin Rouge. Visually it should be stunning like his other films. It stars Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman. It's got major financing; it should be the most expensive film ever made in Australia. It is a period piece set in the 30s.

Yummy. Emu pies are even better.

Obviously I am the only member of this forum who has ever tried to eat farkin' emu.
Even the blue heeler turned his battle-scarred snout up at it, and he was known for eating anything...including substances more usually associated with Kathy Watt.
Emu drumstick has the texture of manilla rope, and I had to drink diesel to get the bloody taste out of my mouth.
Possibly there is an export market in the US for emu meat. After all, they eat catfish.

...yes, but we no longer need to use felines as we have developed a synthetic form of cat. besides, all right thinking americans have switched to a 100 percent free range bison diet...
