With no high road around I reckon CSC or Astana for the win, and I think CSC will just about take it, but not too much of a time gap.

anyone think that caisse or leakygas has a chance? they always seem to surprise early.

Why isn't Chipotle riding?

As they aern't there, Astana shits this stage in.

And people don't have to worry about so called biasim - Columbia aern't here.

I suspect that Liquigas will put in a good performance, although I doubt they will win it.

QuickStep with Bettini and Boonen listed in their line up, might be a bet?
CSC have selected another strong team.
Lampre too have some excellent TT riders : Bruseghin, Ballan etc.

Apparently it is a flat course so i would have thought it might be one for the sprinters' teams as they have to be able to do this during a sprint stage? (i know its not quite that simple but you know what i mean)

Didn't quickstep with the TTT prologue back at the Tour of Quatar? Granted the competition there was provided by Slipstream alone, they've proven that they can have a good showing in this type of event.
