No offense intended.

Let me guess. You ride a trek with tri-bars, pedal at 120 rpm, and wear your full Lotto kit including socks when you go out on your 12 mph bike ride.

Isnt "form" secondary to performance? Maybe grand tours should have judges award time bonuses for "artistic interpretation."

Well many times they are inseperable. If Cadel had a more fluid riding style, he may undoubtedly increase his performance. He wastes a lot of energy with his dyskinetic upper body movements.

And yes, I do believe their is an artistic component to all sports including cycling. That's what makes certain athletes so notable and therefore popular and desireable to watch. If you want to watch a bike race full of guys like Evans and Voeckler, have fun...maybe it's because they resemble your riding style.

I think a graceful style enhances performance. But apparently Cadel doesnt. I cant believe he hasnt considered it fully, given his dedication.
