According to CN, he is not hurt badly. He is apparently cycling smoothly.

The two french heroes of stage 3 -feillu and dumoulin - have attacked out of the main group.

Still, that is going to hurt tonight, and he will be stiff tomorrow.

From the official site:

Dr Gerard Porte has just told France Television that the wounds he has just dressed on Cadel Evans are not deep but the rider expressed his concern during a recent consultation. The Tour’s doctor believes that he might be hindered a little on the upcoming climbs but the injuries do not appear to be too nasty.

He doesn't look hurt to me. He's scraped up for sure, but even that does not look too bad. I like the big hole in the back of his jersey.

It might be bad for him tomorrow but it does not look like it will harm him today.

The f'n motogp event is over on Eurosport, and they are still dragging their feet and not bringing on the Tour coverage.

we've had it on TV live for the last 90 minutes. (actually 60 minutes if you subtract the intro)

Lucky you! Here, never mind that the stupid event ended 10 minutes back. They are showing the crowd now. OTOH, they usually don't wait for the podium events after a Tour stage, and immediately switch to something else. Bastards! Well, at least they are covering the Tour... I guess I shouldn't complain too much.

Piti seems somewhat isolated in the peloton, as in no other teammates close to him.

Edit: I take that back. There are a few others near him now.

yes. cycling bike smoothly means you are not hurt. doctors from world over use this methodology to help those who suffer from life threat diseases. if you walk smoothly you do not have cancer and you will not die.

Lang has crested and is descending. Will the polka dots change hands again?

Montfort and De La Fuente attacked some time back; La Fuente is probably trying to limit his losses to Lang.
