Recall the Comm Games race - Kinyah was in the break all day, we were going nuts, trying to get the crowd into cheering for him (and they did) but then with a few laps to go he went to curry. Still got the cheers though. He was waving to the crowd by the end of it. A minor celebrity.

Froome just quietly bided his time and stayed with one of the leading packs when the peloton broke up. It was a good effort with no support.

I think you should re-edit also

"went to curry" should be more appropriate for the origin "went to meal" would be more accurate to local idiom no?

never been to kenya so I don't know what their idiom is.

I do know they don't do rock gardens over there, if kinyah's ride in the xc was any indication.

naah - he had to borrow a bike from somewhere, then spent ages watching others scope out the rock garden before he was prepared to do it himself.

It's three hours past my bedtime... but I think I can handle it. The anticipation of taking $50 bucks off you should keep me interested...

I don't care if we use Yen. The $$ are not the motivation...

Maybe we should be PMing this little dialogue. Probably just littering the forum waves here.
