Can anyone copy that profile map of the last 5km in here? Would greatly appreciate it. I need it so that I can make my picks and then get buggared by thumper again. I think it's on the letour.com site but I can't find it.
I didn't realise the last 400m of the last sprint (stage 2) was uphill. It looked flat for the last 1km on the profile. It's cost me... ![]()

![]() edit - I guess I lied - looks like it goes up from 48 m at 2 km to go to 51 m at the finish. 3 m in 2 km... grade of 0.15%?

Isn't that the third classic blunder? It goes: 1. Never start a land war in Asia; 2. Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line; and 3. Never trust a Canadian. Cavendish.

Wow. Too bad Ivan Quaranta is not in the race. I reckon that if he were feeling good he might be able to make it up that two meter hill and fight for the victory. The one meter of uphill in the last kilo might have been his undoing though.
