I wonder whether the irony implicit in that has hit you yet.

Calling Monbiot an arsehole does seem a little *too* generous. What's he
done to deserve it?

I think my remark may have been aimed just a little too high in the air!

But thanks for the URL. I see that Loony Monbiot is all for the alleged
views of "slent majorities" when he thinks he can get away with saying
that they support him. I bet he isn't quite so keen on the views of
other (overlapping) silent majorities.

So I was right first time; he *is* worse than an arsehole. He's a
hypocritical arsehole.

Monbiot is so bad in fact, that he has caused me to (very exceptionally)
break my self-imposed rule on use of crude language on Usenet. Well
done, George. Few others can do that.
