But since they will also claim your refutations are themselves twaddle,
they'll go on believing and claiming their twaddle is somehow not
twaddle. This is easy to see, as it's already happened numerous times:
you provide a well reasoned refutation and Nuxx says you're... all sorts
of unpleasant things, and still believes his own idiocy. Do you think
he'll suddenly grow a brain because you've done it for the 301st time
when the first 300 didn't work?

I know where you're coming from Guy, I've overdone troll-wrestling
myself on too many occasions not to. But in the end you're still left
with a tosser who thinks he's right, and in this case anyone else
watching will have already made up their mind.

Pete.

Don't forget "Guy Cuthbertson" on uk.rec.driving and "Stuart Winter" on
alt.os.linux.slackware and alt.archimedes.bugs.

I've done my share of that myself, and I won't say I'll never do it in
the future; but if you absolutely *have* to do it, brevity is the s. of
w., as Bertie Wooster would say.

He may have done just that, for all I know; though I don't remember him
doing so in the past, and if he calls me anything now I won't see it
directly, since he posts via GG. In any case, it won't make no
nevermind to me.

I do know where you're coming from, but Usenet will always have its
equivalent of cheeky kids and shouty tramps, and some of them *will* be
insulting. I think we need to develop a culture of just ignoring them.

"I like also the men who study the Great Pyramid, with a view to
deciphering its mystical lore. Many great books have been written on
this subject, some of which have been presented to me by their authors.
It is a singular fact that the Great Pyramid always predicts the history
of the world accurately up to the date of publication of the book in
question, but after that date it becomes less reliable."
