Amit I've seen it played both ways, and 99% of the time if we didn't see it we can't call it. The few times we have done it the other way there was overwhelming evidence, including from officials who weren't working, but either racing or watching which was enough for the CR to take action. There have been a few times I've seen shit happen that needed to be dealt with, and was repeated, and couldn't get that number, but could get others around that person. Even on the motor, with the centerline and safety considerations you can't always get everything immediately. As soon as the race was over, or safely during the race you ask those other riders who it was. Usually as soon as you get near them they start screaming at you about that bleeping jackass, and what are you going to do about them. So you have what you need for the CR to decide on. Bill C |
