As I've mentioned before, there are only about one dozen cycling tracks in the whole of the USA.

Still in 12th grade, eh? I'm not going to engage with a child.

Btw, nothing I said ever indicated I had any sort of interest in track cycling.

Good idea. Your lack of knowledge would become apparent and it would be very embarrassing to get schooled by a kiddie. Better let sleeping dogs lie.

Cycling, track cycling, it all falls under one banner in regards to the poor efforts of seppo sprinters.

For something that you and your percentages consider to be "hardly a sport at all" you seem to be fairly interested..

Oh, and 12th grade was last year

What, and that's a good thing?

You've got shit sprinters and the reason why is right there staring you in the face, yet somehow you manage to parade it around as a vaild reason for having shit sprinters and not caring about it either

What are we supposed to rebutt? You've made our argument for us

I don't understand this bashing going on. If a country doesn't care shit about a certain sport, what else do you expect anyway? A star team? Or do you want them to pull out of track cycling altogether?

Now, now.
You've entered this fray, CG, so you shouldn't be upset if some mud is thrown, lest the lady doth protest too much. It's a piss-take, shit-stirring, nothing more. It isn't personal, at least until you take offence.

Let it go.

No just trying to get C'Girl to realise its a valid reason for being crap at sprinting, but its not some kind of rebuttal to classic's original post. If no one likes track then fair enough, but ya gotta accept the very balanced and well delivered constructive criticism that ya sprinters are all shit

I think this has been debated a little too far, but what the hey

I wasn't trying to NOT make your argument Jono, but in reading the thread it sure looks like you've done a lot of rebutting. I was explaining to you the reason BEHIND the situation.

Tell me something Jono. How many ice rinks do you have in Oz? And, within those ice rinks, how many ice hockey teams do you have there? Afterall, I'm sure there's a huge interest in ice hockey in your tropical climate there. Why don't you guys bring one of your hockey teams on over here so we can beat the shit out of them and then brag about it. I know I for one felt awesome when the US (and just about every other country competing) beat out the Jamaican bobsledders in the Olympics. (And, btw, I was being facetious there. I actually cheered for the Jamaicans and hoped they'd win. If you bring your hockey team here, I'll cheer for them too. . You know what would be really cool is if you, thunder and classic could take the sport up real quick and join the team and come on over and play. I'd be conflicted on who to cheer for under those circumstances, but it'd make a great game I bet. )

TDL, thanks for your gentlemanly response.

Whats going on here? This thread is about me and seppos sprinters. Actually, its all about moi, classic1. Get over yourselves. Its all there in the title for you to read. The seppo sprinter part is irrelevant. It could have said unicorns or dodos or Easter bunny, coz they don't exist either. You're all jealous coz I get a thread with my own name on it. Thank you thunder for recognising my genius.
