Default Gay pride salute

Okay, Zabel may be the best known for it, and Boonen may be the one
most recently known for it, but losing a race due to premature
celebration is just gay.

But, even gay-er (more gay?) is saluting from 20+ meters back when
your teammate wins.

"look at me, I helped that guy up there win!!!"

20+ meters? More like three bike lengths.

I like it and if you read the race report it sounds like he earned the
right. It also makes the teamwork a little more obvious to the
dumbasses who wouldn't notice otherwise.

That just looks like another (extreme) case of TB throwing the arms up
too early.

This is great! You think you know all my views, without even stating them,
yet you are a scared little PC baby to actually state yours. Lets hear one
that is not a fence balancing act??

I ask a question that pretty much sums up the nature vs. nurture issue and
that means I am a homophobe? Classic wacko socialist free speech bashing
maybe?? "I believe in free speech.... As long as I agree with it!!"

My take? Who cares what I think!

Nevertheless.

Celebrating when your teammate wins = awesome, because despite the
dumbassery on display in this thread, cycling is a team sport.

Celebrating as you're getting beaten, a la Zabel or Boonen = mortifying.
Seriously, an unprofessional thing, because it means you WERE NOT PAYING
ATTENTION!

Cavendish demonstrated the proper place to make a fool of yourself with
an overexuberant victory celebration: on the podium, holding the
victor's magnum.

Maybe now his sponsor can get him some of those cleatless victory shoes,

(Quoting therefrom):

Only the homophobic men showed an increase in penile erection to male
homosexual stimuli. The groups did not differ in aggression.
Homophobia is apparently associated with homosexual arousal that the
homophobic individual is either unaware of or denies. (end quote)

This is great... IF someone does not agree with homosexuality they must be a
closet gay? That is as bad as anyone that says anything bad about someone
and that someone is other than white they _must_ be racist...

You want me to state a view that's not a fence balancing act? Here's
one: In my view you're a knuckle-dragging cretin with accidental
knowledge of how to turn on a computer, to the detriment of Usenet.

No. The rest of your posting history quite clearly reveals you to be a
homophobe. And your question summed up nothing but rather provides a
shining example towards validating my view, clearly and unequivocally
stated above.
