The level of antipathy that Chris H felt ... feels ... for Chris T is difficult to over-state. Chris H has left DPF alone for a while, but if he comes back...

Praise the Lord, though. That place is better and more interesting already. You might just save that site, Thunder.

edit: and House, too, of course. But I've never been PMed by House insulting Chris T, so I think he's more controlled than Chris H.
you know, it is pretty ironic but I think that you are right, Rhunder might actually save DPF, cos it is (was?) dying a slow painful death.

That would be me TDL , though I unfortunately didn't get to place that vote first; someone beat me to it as work obligations called and I just now got to vote. Now I see there are 3.

But, I must qualify. It's a longshot but I'm going with never banned, not that he drank the koolaid. But, that part's just funny really.

Did I mention I like to play roulette and the lottery too.

I think those who voted option "A" win the money.

I think it might have been a post in response to Hombre.

Hombre made a post (http://www.dailypelotonforums.com/m...ndpost&p=113130) referring to how his Yellowness desperately wanted to win Amstel but never did, even though they changed the course to suit him.

Chris T had this response:

Quote:
As a GT rider, he was not a very good classics rider. Hombre, let it go, Lance will never turn gay, you never gonna have to leave your wife to live in sin with him.

Really is quite a mark on our culture an adult is in such a thrall to a media construct and fraud such as Lance Armstrong. Say after me Hombre, "Lance doped, he lied, he is not to be admired"

"Lance doped, he lied, he is not to be admired"

"Lance doped, he lied, he is not to be admired"

"Lance doped, he lied, he is not to be admired"
We need to book you into some sessions on the shrink's couch Hombre, or off to China for re-education.

Incidentally, I thought Hombre's was a surprisingly un-adoring post, though he is still capable of bitterness for those who dare to defeat the great one:
http://www.dailypelotonforums.com/m...ndpost&p=113174 and http://www.dailypelotonforums.com/m...ndpost&p=105532 (that last one got a serve from runitout).

Holy crap already? I really thought you'd make it a bit longer. It just proves that folks other there are idiots, because your presence does bring in more posters, therefore more clicks which is good for advertising money. Guess they don't understand business.

Oh, I think he's all right once you get to know him, Thunder! He just has a 'robust' manner at times, and people who take themselves too seriously are bound to find that a little abrasive and are also particular targets for his direct approach.

But if you're not prepared to get your nose bloodied a little, you shouldn't step in the ring...
