My co-worker says the bike is going to be delivered on April 15. Gee, that date sounds familiar for something else
. Anyway, he says that he will ride it to work someday so that I can check it out, and beleive me, I will check it out and let you know what bike costs $11,000. And Pete, I'll get pictures if I can.

i remember the article about the lugged ti Merlin roadie, hand-engraved, full Record...$15,000 USD.
Of course, it's not US-made, but the Storck prototype -- carbon EVERYTHING (almost), the whole bike weighed <= 10lb. $18,000!!

Here in New Zealand we can walk into a LBS and buy(they'd have to get it in on order) that new Scott that has the lightest production frame with full Dura Ace and pay $21 000(and our dollar is at 79c / US) for it full retail.
I don't think many are selling ! |
