Anyone here catch VN's original incorrect headline/article where they thought the qualifying was actually the final and had it that Huizenga had won the gold? Good thing they fixed that before the actual final took place...

Yeah, watched it. Good thing that Eurosport is airing the program live.

Did anyone watch the 15 km race? Lisouski took off very early in the race, almost lapped the peloton, became too tired and allowed himself to get caught. I thought he was toast, but then he went on to win the race!

I didn't ask a question so I don't know what you were answering....

But someone should give you a stick-on star for seeing it live. We don't get anything in the US AFAIK (please inform me US citizens if there is a telecast I'm unaware of)

Look, I'm really not in a mood for a battle of wits right now. So, you can denigrate all you want, and I'm not going to respond.

Denigrate? TDL... where's your sense of humor buddy? I apologize if that's how it read. I was kind of having a poke at you implying that the thread wasn't a scoop, because you'd watched it live. Since that was your only point, and you didn't discuss anything about the race, I had assumed that' was your message, so maybe I read your post wrong.

The thread was meant to be a focus for discussion, not a breaking story that no one would know about. I was also trying to make the point that I am envious we don't get to see the coverage here, even as delayed highlights (but I might be ignorant of e telecast).

Maybe I need more emoticons... . Please don't get your knickers in a knot. There is no need for any battle of wits. But please do discuss the 4km pursuit final race if you want to. I didn't get to see it.

The way you react to some posts is surprising to say the least. I just put in a note that I watched it happen, the way friends talk to each other, and you ridicule me as if I'm trying to boast about it. Given how quickly you posted about it, I assumed that you too were watching it live...

I think I'm reading things that aren't there. I apologize. I think that brief altercation with Flyer the last couple of days has got me reading posts through tinted glasses. It was a misunderstanding.

It must have something to do with them not having to rely on good weather when they train indoors...
