they will have to wind up the Tyler Hamilton Foundation. They were paying the CEO near 6 figures, and the distributions were miniscule. So much for charity.

So Armstrong walks away with McConaughey and a net worth near 9 figures, Hamilton and Landis divorcing, Levi lost his hair, surely Odessa will follow. Landis no money left, probably loses his step daughter, probably has fallen out with his best mate Will Geoghagon, his mentor father-figure committed suicide.

Doping US o' A style, paintin' a rosy picture of domesticity yah?

Is Landis divorcing? If so it has been a long time coming because of his infidelity with one of the training staff, but either way I suspect he will get a large contact with a "vitamin" company.

I was referring to Hamilton's personal life.

It's from a source that has been reliable in the past, but as with anything consider it a rumor until public.

OK.

I'm not surprised that either Hamilton or Landis marriages are under pressure.

All those articles about Tyler and Haven and how happy their life was, count for nought now.

She was at least loving enough to allegedly supply a few pints to her husband.

And it must be hard work maintaining the lie. The Puerto fax was in his wife's name, so she was involved in it somehow (complicit or not).
I actually feel sorry in a way for both Tyler and Floyd, especialy when you consider that they learned their trade alongisde LA and he left the sport an exhalted hero. They have given their entire lives to the sport (in their eyes doping was just what everyone else was doing - and it was) and that is probably why they found it imposible to fess up when the shizzle hit the fizzle. The day will come when one if not both of these men spill the beans on the whole episode - maybe the day they need money to pay for their divorce costs?

I doubt it will happen anytime soon, given how hard they have tried to pull wool over others. Especially after seeing the fate of Marion Jones, I think both of them will be quite wary of confessing.

That's what happens when you "sup with the devil" - as they say.

The fact that they both kept trying to maintain the facade, would bring not only huge external pressure from enquiries etc - it was also cause some internal pressure if the spouse knowingly tried to provide an alibi which was
patently untrue.

I agree with you - I would not be surprised if either man told his story of what went on, at some point in the future.

If so, it will be far on in the future. I maintain that the FFF donations will keep Floyd living the lie for years to come.

Quote:
Lim awoke to the sight of Landis pulling on his biking gear. The trainer was confused. Didn't he have to pack up? Didn't he have a plane to catch?

"Not anymore we don't," Landis informed Lim.

Lim still didn't get it.

"What I'm saying is, Fuck it," Landis said. "I'll ride there."

And so Landis did. He pointed his front wheel north toward France and started pedaling. He rode up and over the Pyrenees and down the mountain roads, into the vineyards of Limoux, following the road signs north. Landis rode for six hours, covering 130 miles, then got off his bike, stripped off his mud-soaked jersey and shorts, and hurled them off a nearby cliff. Donning dry clothes, he climbed in the car to drive the rest of the way with Lim. "You know how I got to the Tour last year?" Landis asked. When Lim shook his head, Landis grinned. "Lance's private jet," he said.
There's a touching love story here somewhere.
