Very good question.
Probably just because I think Benjamin Sadvoy is an ass. Why don't you ask Sadavoy yourself: 'benjamin@pedalmag.com' Pedla Magazine and Candian Cyclist are tied directly to the CCA. They need the CCA and they need their industry sponsors & advertisers. They do not want anything critical on their web sites. Rob Jones writes one maybe two critical editorials a year and then does nothing to follow it up. Rob Jones will say I am banned because I made comments about his wife who edits the site with him. I mentioned one day she was PMS-ing when she started deleting posts left and right when Rob was away one day. Also, when Rob Jones when to bat for a transsexual competing as a woman in national cycling championship I asked, tongue-in-cheek (my cheek) if Rob might have a things for transsexuals since his wife Tracy looks more manly and is bigger than Rob is. I guess Rob took offense! Maybe I hit a nerve. What are you going to do? I'm still curious about the transsexual things.....! For the record I think by all means they should be allowed to compete... in their own category. Get all the transsexual cyclists together and create new category for them. I do not want them racing with women. If the trannies want to race with the men I have no objections. |

As mentioned any user may be banned for repeatedly posting content that is unsuitable. Comments on sexual orientation are generally not suitable although they may have a place in discussions and must be correctly expressed - making such comments without any knowledge or facts is not acceptable. Sadavoy is a coward.
You can't discuss sexuality on a web forum? Since when? If transsexuals want to race with women then it is an issue worth mentioning and discussion. If that's why Sadavoy is claiming he's banning me it is a lie. Look at his web site. It is pathetic. He just publishes every press release sent to him. He offers ZERO analysis. His forum is dead. It was dead before I started psotign there. ti is dead since I left. While I was there it got 3000 to 4000 views a week and about 500 posts. I've known Benjamin Sadavoy for more than 20 years, since before he bought Pedal Magazine and published some convention sale rag.. He has always been a putz. He doesn't know anything more about the spoert of cycling today than he did 20 years ago. |
