The funniest thing about paceline is how much they hate Slipstream. One gets the feeling that underneath it all they know how dirty Bruyneel really was/is, and hate how Slipstream is now viewed by many as being the anti-USPS. Bugs the crap out of them that JV/Slipstream have become the good guys and JB/USPS the bad guys.

Actually, Jimmy, I think your objection is not being able to discuss doping as you see fit, which, here, must take place within the rules of the board. I did not make the rules, I was asked to enforce them. Obsolecent rules like, lets have some minimum of evidence before we accuse someone of something. If you don't like them, that's fine, I understand. Campaign for them to be changed. But I'm not the one who made them. So don't even begin to pretend that you understand my attitude about doping based on posts *within the rules* that I have made here. Maybe I am a dinosaur, but you're the loud-mouthed kid who thinks he has the rigth answer to *everything*. You don't. Neither do I.

I have watched and followed every scrap of TV coverage of the TdF since the 1980s. I won’t be watching any TdF *anything* this year. In fact I’m boycotting *all* TdF coverage and *all* of the TdF sponsors because of ASO’s idiotic decision to exclude Astana. What a crock. It’s a pretty poor organization that bans a team whose managers and riders have enjoyed spectacular success and enormously increased the fan base and viewership through US Postal and Discovery.

The new motto of your biased, hypocritical organization should be. “If we can’t cause them to lose by designing courses just to beat their past riders such as Lance, now we will cheat and invent an excuse now to ban their managers and riders from the race.” This decision finally exposes you as having the least ethics and being the poorest sports of any organization involved in cycling.

May the boycott of your race and your sponsors grow exponentially in the coming months.
