I thought he got off the charges because he is Spanish (Santa Claus). Just like many of the other accused Spanish athletes, the Spanish association supported him and that was that. Thanks for setting me straight.

Don't forget the new book to be released (in final draft): Training and Racing with a Reindeer.

While we're on the subject of books, don't forget the guy at the end of last year who was arrested for having sex with his bike in a hotel room.

His book now in the stores is titled, "Why I Humped My Bianchi". A spokesman for the publishing company said they had printed 1 million copy copies and hoped they wouldn't be saddled with unsold copies. They are advertising widely to crank up sales in the larger bookstore chains. The police however have put the brakes on the guy to prevent him from wheeling and dealing with TV companies for his story. This whole saga stems from a short article in a local newspaper.
It looks like the publishing company is gearing up to make a killing with this book said John Crossbar of Cycling Juicers Weekly.

I recall an interview with Lance a few years ago where he stated that for a final climb on a stage in the Dauphine he averaged 495watts for the climb ~25 minutes.

Come on now, once the Lance name is dropped any cycling thread goes off track. It's that syndrome. Oh gosh, I can't think of it now. The one about dropping Hitler in an internet thread immediately taking the thread off track. Same goes for LA in a cycling thread.

Ok, I don't have the attention span for this one. And, well, I'm extremely disadvantaged because my 9 year old son can sew better than me. I can barely even sew a button on.

So, mercy, I surrender. What's it stand for? Is the last part something like "go through hole?"
