And Bedford, he is in Toronto, you can visit his shop...Very cool

Holy! Thats expensive. I can build up a comp with 4gigs of ram, 3ghz
(or higher) processor, and all the other basic stuff you get on the
motherboard, for less than that, and have it come with a good editing
program like Premiere or something. =p

Only thing that would really up the cost is buying a nice case and
monitor, but it would still be cheaper.

Buying or building PC is much cheaper, but I like to think I am paying
for the OS which has yet to show me it can contract a virus after years
of P2P downloading. If you ever want to play good video games on your
computer again, don't get a mac.

I dont get viruses on WinXP. Or on 98 when I was suing that before I
went to XP. I was using p2p programs like kazaa, winMX (was my
favorite), iMesh, and all other ones for years. I just knew the right
files to download and could spot out fake files easily.

Besides, Macs can get viruses, and have lots of problems. Both my dad
and sister use Macs, so there are two desktops and one laptop in my
house, and Im the only one with a PC. They have troubles all the time.
Program failure, viruses here and there, and some hardware failure too.
Glad I can go to my room and know my comp will be running fine.

I dont want to turn this into a Mac/Windows thing though. Ive been
using Macs for about 5 years longer than I have with windows. I like
them both, and feel they are equal on almost all things. Windows can
play video games easier, and thats about it. For everything else,
equal.

Back on topic now though, I am going to get Adobe Creative Suite 3 -
Production Premium. I already have PSCS3 and and older version of
Premiere pro, but I already uninstalled those and will just reinstall
the CS3 suite. Its gonna be nice. =p
