Good work! How much do you weigh? I know of pros whose mid winter FTP is lower than that! I will be doing 3 x 30 in 53/17 at 90+ cadence this afternoon....if I can....the KK computer has now completely stopped working so I need to rely on gearing and cadence to have an idea of how hard i am going....the KK computer is of similar quality to things that come out of christmas crackers ;-) |

not really sure - I would guess so - I def notice that higher cadence at FT = higher HR and faster breathing and less leg stress. A real advantage is that if you get useds to riding / racing at a higher cadence you will find you have less ache and fatigue in your legs the day after a big effort. You will also develop faster acceloration, which can be great for crits, for example. |
