I need springs on my feet...so I can clean the "high up" places...which aren't very high in my case. OTOH...if I can't see it, it ain't dirty...

(And personally I think prepositions are fine to end sentences with...except for "at"...I hate it when people say Where is it at... It's redundant)

Do you need a foot stool to get onto your bed?...

How's the new job going?

It is going well. The accounts I am being given are producing pretty good income now, and I should be able to increase that with some work. Turns out too that the time it takes isn't huge, and having another job is pretty easy. I have a friend who started a finance company this year, and it is in the same industry, so I talked with him Thursday, and looks like I will rep for him on the side. My wife's chiro practice is starting to get going, so we will be ok. It is still tight.....real tight money wise, but we have learned some VERY good lessons through all of this. We have had a personal "Gread Depression" and have a different perspective on money than before, and that is a very good thing. Any news on your front? (message me if writing about it here would be too uncomfortable)

That is a good one.. but do you really find petiteness that shocking...

When the furniture guys set up the bed I was like....holy crap...I don't remember it being that high in the store?? But I have lots of storage under there, so that's cool. Purse and shoes, purses and shoes...

I'm thinking a mini-trampoline could be good. I could just run in and bounce on... Maybe do a flip...

I love The Office, and was very happy Ryan is going to jail. Funny, he and Toby are writers for the show, and they wrote themselves off??? Maybe too many irons in the fire.

LOL... I used to ride past little Mary Lou Retton's house in Houston. It was paradoxically a HUGE house. She obviously did okay out of gymnastics. It was only a couple of streets from Roger Clemens' place as well.

I used to live in Memorial Villages there and my next-door neighbor, who I went on some leisurely rides with, was a council member. He'd be like "That's Roger Clemens' house.... that's Mary Lou retton's house... That's Neil Bush's old house... the secret service used to park in this church parking lot and watch his house 24/7 when George HW Bush was president... that's George HW's winter house".

I wish I was married to a chiro!

That made me think of The Jerk with Steve Martin...after he loses all his money in a class action lawsuit and he has to write millions of checks for $1.09....LOL! And Bernadette Peters says...it's not the money...it's all the stuff...waaaaaah....

I couldn't find that clip but I found the rest of it...All I Need....

(Glad it's going well BTW!)

I think I'm actually taller than Mary Lou...

I saw her give a speech at a conference once. She really is amazing. Who am I kidding... she was a doper!!! Just like Clemens!!! Just kidding...

My brother just interviewed for a job in Houston.

I can't imagine that oil at $120 a barrel is hurting the Houston economy.

It is real HOT in Houston in summer. I mean like... can't-sit-on-your-car-seat-after-leaving-it-parked-for-15-minutes-in-the-sun hot.

The stupidest thing is... I played cricket all day there in the summer. People were nearly dying. "Couldn't play in the winter time". No. Cricket is a traditional summer sport. Nevertheless... I gave it away.

We have the same climate in summer...so he knows (he used to live here). But Houston is about 12 hours closer to the beach... His other opps are in the great white north...where Yankees live...
