Just so you know . . . you have that second parachute if you wish to use it. I'm just playing with you. I know you know all too well what you're doing. |

Cranky, you spread out the troops too thin; hence the silence at the homefront here. I mean, I only have SO much time, so I have to pick and choose what I keep up with.
![]() Can you guys believe it is STILL only in the upper 50s and rainy here and supposed to be that way all weekend? Geez, next weekend is Memorial Day. I swear, it gets worse every year in this city with the lack of a spring. J, talk to me . . . tell me how warm it is there and how you're going boating all weekend. |

It is suppose to be 75 F Saturday and partly cloudy and I am going beering......I mean boating. Sunday is also 70ish with a 40% chance of showers. I am completing my errands toady so I can get in a decent bike ride in the morning. I am in fear I may run out of tanning lotion before July 4th. ![]()

Lol, you suck. What's tanning lotion? Every weekend I plan on pulling my bike off the trainer and every weekend it's friggin' cool and rainy. I used to actually like riding in a light rain, but since my crash I'm a bit more cautious and I think, what's the point really? I ain't makin' money riding a bike, that's for sure. Plus, I just don't want to have to clean the bike up, put it back on the trainer, etc. Too much hassle. I need a new bike so I can just leave my old one on the trainer. ![]() |

I went with that plan. Bought a six13 last year to ride in good weather and planned to use my Felt on rainy days. Just hasn't worked out that way. My Felt stays on the trainer and is rarely used and the six13 gets treated to both sunny and rainy days. I rode a good portion of 3 State 3 Mountain two weekends ago in heavy rain. The bike was so dirty I just dropped it off at the LBS and had them disassemble it, dry it out and clean it. However, it does make a good excuse if you have bike fever and are trying to justify getting a new bike. Plus my backup bike came in handy after my crash. I was able to continue training while the six13 was being repaired.

That's what I do, an old frame on the trainer and it's always ready to go.
If I were you I would buy this bike in the color of your choice. ![]()

Well, the way I have it figured, you still owe me that piece of jewelry from Tiffany's. I was still picking something out, but you can go ahead and buy me a bike instead. I'll get you my bike fit info and desired color scheme and we'll be all set. ![]() |
