Deal-o Sealed-o. But it get's better. I won't put "mate" on the end of every sentence (which would really annoy you, as it does the rest of the world).

But it wouldn't sound as Austrine as Steve Irwin, RIP, "Crikey, she's real angry this snake" [as he pokes it constantly with a stick].

Don't take you're panties off yet. You don't think you're the only internet forum girl that's trying to get my attention do ya JeNNSy? Ever since my avatar change, girls have been noticing less of the 'ole grumpy persona.

But I'm considering you. If Helmut comes back, I'm yours.

What an excellent idea. Though it might be frightening waking up the next morning and reading the story sober.

Hey Frigo, did you live anywhere near Punxsutawney, the site of one of my favorite movies - Groundhog Day.

Incidentally, in that movie, I could never understand why one of the times he woke up in his time warp, he didn't just drive straight out of Punxsutawney. I mean, the storm didn't hit until later.

Back to movies meanwhile, Lim's list jogged my memory a little and I have to add to my list ....
Withnail and I
Seven Samurai
Throne of Blood
Kagemusha
Chocolat
Babette's Feast
Amelie

Henry and June. Great movie. Uma Thurman naked all over the place and a real story too. Plus Henry talks about riding the Sixes at Madison Square Garden.

I grew up in Wilkes-Barre which is about five hours from Punxsutawney.

The pizza will be almost frozen when it reaches Seatle. They "par bake" the stuff and then freeze it. It defrosts in transit and you simply pop it in your oven.

I may just order one. Mmmm...it's going to take longer than 20 mins to get here, isn't it. Do I need to give the FedEx guy a tip?

Has anybody ever broken the scaphoid bone in their wrist? I crashed four years ago and hurt my wrist. However, since it was my first year of racing, I didn't want to miss any part of the season so I avoided going to the doctor. After about a year, the excruciating pain began to slowly subside. Although in the past six months its gotten worse. So, I finally went to an orthopedic surgeon. After telling me it was still broken, he asked why the freak I didn't go to the doctor when it happened. I told him it was racing season and I didn't want to miss any time... He immediately understood. Turns out he used to race for my team.

I now have to get a screw inserted and will be off of the bike for a few months. My question is what extent, if any, will I loose mobility in the wrist in the future.

Thanks

Was that last question just inserted to give you a reason to tell us about your broken wrist (which I am very sorry that you have been in pain for so long BTW).

I mean......ASK THE FRICKIN DOCTOR, Frigo.

Seriously though, with my limited medical knowledge, your wrist should repair as good as new. Unless there is permanent scarring of your ligaments which IMO is unlikely.

Once the weak link in the chain is fixed, and the pins come out, Voila...you are the man/cyclist you were four years ago, without the pain.

In any case, if there is any residual pain after your rehab period is over - ask the doctor for a topical injection of cortisone. Often fixes things overnight - especially around the small bones of the hands and feet. Worked for me.

Mate - you've got to have "The Castle" on there, haven't you?

I don't care for the real story bit but I've just ordered it on Blockbuster online.
