NNS - what are you doing?? Some people are going to recognize that's my body that you've pasted Tom's face onto. You're not the first person to have a shower with me you know. I said this film stays between us.

Love it. Thanks for that I needed it (dealing with family medical issues right now).

And I like Edie too
I've noticed that as soon as you two get together, the raunch-factor starts going up.

It's like being a fly on the wall at a girls sleepover.

Keep it going. IMHO this thread needs to get sexed up occasionally before we start getting into a serious discussion about the hidden societal commentary contained in Monty Python & the Holy Grail.

Though afterwards, I couldn't stop whistling that darn Colonel Bogeys's March song. Its almost as bad as that Disneyworld song "Its a Small World After All" for the title of "Worst Songs you Can't Get out of your Head". [PS. Don't go on that ride if you haven't already].

Hey guys - this thread provides a wonderful escape for me. I also watch movies primarily to escape. I also ride my bike partially to escape. Actually a good portion of my life seems to revolve around escape .

Its a wonder I'm so rich, powerful and successful in life

Must be because I am fortunate to be so darn handsome.

Hey, the minute this thread dies, I fear my fantasy is going to dissappear faster than Cindarella's chariot at midnight.

Has anyone ever got a whole page of their own posts in a thread?

I have this idea of how we can get to 17k+ posts by the end of the week and beat those suckers in the other forum.

We work out an order of posting. Then we are allowed only three (or some arbitrary number) of words per post.

Then the fun begins. We write our own story, ala "Whose Line is it Anyway".

One precondition IMO - We need JeNNSy and the Earth Seductress there to spice things up.

There have been a few threads which have run as monologues, so you're not unique in that regard. In fact there's a chap called Fausto Coppied who seems to have an entire subforum of his posts, so you've got a bit more work to do.

Back to movies meanwhile, Lim's list jogged my memory a little and I have to add to my list ....
Withnail and I
Seven Samurai
Throne of Blood
Kagemusha
Chocolat
Babette's Feast
Amelie

Dum de dum. The weather here in Seattle is cold, overcast, with intermittent drizzle. Now you don't have to look at another weather report for Seattle until next June.
